Tashara Zitz, FNP

Tashara Zitz is a Family Nurse Practitioner born in New Mexico and raised in Florida. She started her nursing career 10 years ago in a Level II Trauma Center in Florida and carried that passion to a freestanding emergency room in Austin, TX. She was encouraged by her peers to follow her dreams to become a Nurse Practitioner. She received her Associate’s in nursing from Gulf Coast State college, her Bachelor’s from Grand Canyon University, and her Master’s from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Tashara is passionate about providing a holistic care approach to her practice by not only focusing on the physical health but also the mental health of her patients. She has a strong interest in urgent, emergent, and critical care. Tashara is also national certified as a DOT Medical Examiner and routinely performs and certifies DOT exams.

When Tashara is not caring for her patients, you can find her with her family on an adventure. She enjoys spending time camping in her RV and traveling. She also enjoys reading and spending time at the beach.
