Anissa Schymik, FNP-C

Anissa Schymik, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, with specialized trainings in pediatrics, gynecology, GI, surgery, preventive health, nutrition, and fitness. Combined with RN experience she has more than 20 years in healthcare and wellness. She loves working to bring out the best in each person, addressing health and vitality from a comprehensive, holistic perspective.

She holds a Master of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. She Studied at Chamberlain College of Nursing, 2019, Denver School of Nursing, 2006, and University of Colorado-Boulder, 1989, respectively. Her passion for medicine stems from being a lifelong athlete along with a love for helping people. Her varied background provides the ability to connect with patients of all ages from all walks of life. She was inspired to pursue medicine while teaching English in Brazil.

Anissa has called the Highlands Ranch community “home” since 2006, staying active with three teenagers. You can find her running on a trail when not at work or talking about Italy
